The Mineralogy and Gem Gallery, known as the Tech Gallery, was originally installed by Screen Art over 5 years ago but even the best designed galleries need up-grades which we have recently been doing. The biggest change has been the Barrick Gold Gallery just inside the entrance which features interactive displays and the million dollar coin. The Gem Gallery has recently had upgrades in signage and looks as good as the day it opened. Be sure to visit the Royal Ontario this Christmas and experience all the changes.
 The Million Dollar coin is one of the features of the Barrick Gold Corner in the Tech Gallery. It is 99.9 % pure gold and has a sculpture of Queen Elizbeth II on the front and brilliantly rendered Maple Leaves on the back. |  A collection of Space Rocks are found in this case which features a wall mural printed and installed by Screen Art. |

 Located in the case seen above is a small piece of raw gold and surrounding it is a wall of stone which represents the amount of waste rock that typically would need to be mined to process that nugget. |  Seen above is the finished print screen printed on the wall. |
