Over 75 years of Service!
Screen Art has been a fixture in the Toronto Screen printing scene since 1945 when our founder Ira Maurice Noble and his sister Kay started the small post WWII company.
Ira was an unforgettable character who pioneered many techniques that would eventually become the norm.
What he couldn't buy he invented and he created some of the earliest machines in our industry. But truly, it was his joie de vivre and wonderful sense of humour that made him popular amongst his peers.

In 1982 Screen Art Products was incorporated and changed hands to his trusted employee, artist and graphic artist, Daniel Fobert and his partner Mervin. Change was in the wind and over the next 30 years, Screen Art gradually did less screen making and more and more screen printing. In that period of diversification the company was transitioned into museum graphics, vinyl graphics, historic wallpaper production and custom screen printing.
Today with new owner Peter Cheng at the controls of Screen Art, they strive for the highest possible quality and promptest delivery time possible. In honouring Ira's memory, Daniel, Mervin and Peter kept the highest ideals in running the business. Follow Screen Art on the Screen Art blog. |
