Jason Evans "Take Away/ Show" opened today at the Art Gallery of Ontario with the installation of these graphic items by Screen Art. Later posters of Jasons work were hung against the huge expanse of wall behind the desk. In a series of lively and humourous portraits created for the 2013 Scotiabank CONTACT Photography Festival, British photographer Jason Evans brings into view the broad range of people working at the Art Gallery of Ontario. Evans created twelve group portraits of employees from various departments, including Conservation, Development, Facilities, Kitchen, Media Productions and Protection Services. Screen Art printed and installed 6 huge murals on GF perforated 70/30 vinyl on the windows that span the front of the front entranceway to the AGO.
