Jeannie Thib, a Toronto artist best known for her heavily ornamented sculptural, and print work, passed away on October 26 of still unidentified causes. She was 58.
Thib focused on the body in its cultural and physical forms throughout her career, leaving behind a venerable body of work and an acute absence in Ontario’s arts community.
At Screen Art we were involved in several of Jeannie's installations. Dealing with Jeannie was always a pleasant, professional experience. She will be missed by all of us.
